Dr. ROBERT ARJET reads scripts for the second
round of the Austin Film Festival screenplay com-
petition. He also writes coverage for the AFF, as
well as for individuals through his own business,
ScriptTeacher.arjet.net. He has taught writing and
other courses at Syracuse University, Austin
Community College and Emory University.
DAVID BARBA (david-barba@hotmail.com) is a
freelance writer who has experience in production
and post-production. He received his BA in
Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount Univer-
sity's School of Film and Television. He enjoys
traveling and watching films.

CARPTENER's
(kali2vibe@aol.com)
debut feature film, Kali's Vibe, won both the Jury
and the Audience Award at the Denver Pan African
Film Festival and a Vision Award at the Los Ange-
les Pan African Film Festival. She is currently in
post-production on a short film, Eye Wonder, and
has just completed a new feature film script.
PETER CLINES is a regular contributor to
both Creative Screenwriting and CS Weekly. The
first script he ever wrote got him an open door to
pitch at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voy-
ager. His first novel, "Ex-Heroes," is currently
available.
PETER DEBRUGE (pdebruge@gmail.com) grew
up in Waco, Texas, but calls Hollywood home. He
works as a film critic and associate features edi-
tor for Variety and also reviews for the Miami Her-
ald and Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
JOHN FOLSOM (johnallenfolsom@gmail.com) is
a screenwriter and freelance writer based in
Kansas City. He's contributed to Writer's Di-
gest about the tricky art of adaptation and is cur-
rently adapting another novel into a script.
JEFF GOLDSMITH (yo.goldsmith@gmail.com) is
senior editor at Creative Screenwriting. He at-
tended USC for theater and film and is an award-
winning commercial, music video and Sony
PlayStation video game director. As producer of
the CS Magazine screening series, he does on-
stage interviews and creates podcasts.
SEAN KENNELLY (skennelly@bellsouth.net), a
Writers Boot Camp alumnus, won a regional
Emmy his first year out of film school for his writ-
ing and producing efforts in the Utah media. Since
then he has worked at several studios, including
DreamWorks and Columbia Pictures, and is
currently working on a novel and handful of
screenplays.
DANNY MUNSO (danny@creativescreenwriting)
is the associate editor and marketing manager for
Creative Screenwriting. A graduate of Loyola
Marymount University's Film and Television pro-
gram, he currently resides in San Francisco where
you can regularly find him at Giants home games.
JENELLE RILEY is a playwright and journalist
based in L.A. and the writer of the award-winning
short films Crazy Love and The Perfect Candidate.
She actually prefers Berger to Big or Adian, and is
a total Miranda.
ADAM STOVALL (astovall@gmail.com) moved
from Cincinnati, where he read CS since it began
13 years ago, to Los Angeles, where he now
writes for it as well as CS Weekly. He also works
in the CS Screening Series and spends his time
watching the movies that are in theaters and writ-
ing the movies he wishes were.
DAVID MICHAEL WHARTON is a freelance writer
from Texas and managing editor of CS Weekly.
When he's not sweating in the Creative Screen-
writing trenches, he's writing about pop culture
for CinemaBlend.com.
